Q:  What is the NCLEX-RN Overview?

A: The NCLEX-RN Exam can be anywhere from 75 to 265 items. Of these items, 15 are pretest items that are not scored. Time limit is 6 hours, regardless of number of items administered. Take note that the time allotted for this exam includes all breaks, tutorial, sample items and the examination. All breaks are optional.

Q:  What is the NCLEX-PN Overview?

A: The NCLEX-PN Exam can be anywhere from 85 to 255 items. Of these items, 25 are pretest items that are not scored. Time limit is 5 hours, regardless of number of items administered. Take note that the time allotted for this exam includes all breaks, tutorial, sample items and the examination. All breaks are optional.
